Civilianbench Septic wants people of all abilities to use civilianbench.garden. This statement explains how we approach it. It is a general template. It is not legal advice.

Our Goal

We want the site to work for as many people as possible. We aim for the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA. It is a widely used standard for accessible sites.

Steps We Aim to Take

We try to:

• Use clear headings and a sensible page order
• Add text descriptions to images that matter
• Keep text easy to read with good color contrast
• Let you get around with a keyboard alone
• Build pages that work on phones, tablets and computers
• Write in plain, simple words
• Label form fields clearly

Where We Fall Short

Some parts of the site may not fully meet the standard yet. Third-party content, like embedded tools, may be out of our hands. We check the site from time to time. When we find a problem on the site, we aim to correct it.
